Last night Danith surprised me with an early Valentine gift of roses. It was very thoughtful and completely unexpected gift. Of course now I am wondering how I can top that for my gift to her.

We watched several movies recently which is quite a surprise for us. Usually we just give up on making time to watch non-family oriented movies and catch up on household chores and other tasks when the kids are asleep. But this past weekend we were able to get Ghost Rider in. It was good and Nicholas Cage played his part really well. The CGI’ed Ghost Rider was great. We also finished up Fantastic Four part two, which was not as good as the first one but still a good family movie. I did enjoy the cameo by Stan Lee (The creator of the comic).

Today was the day I was supposed to be getting my Cable Cards installed from Comcast. I took the afternoon off to wait for the tech to arrive sometime between 1-3pm. Well that time has come and gone.

I called up Comcast and they sent the tech yesterday which I guess to Erik the guy I set the appointment with was Friday. So I ended up sitting at home for nothing.

They are now coming Sunday 11-1, unless of course Sunday is really Saturday in Comcast’s book.

Otherwise I finally got around to watching Fantastic Four while sitting around and was pleasantly surprised. Perhaps I will watch #2 this weekend.
